Research and Authoring Service

Introduction

Do you want to find information about a particular topic, but lack the time to look for that information yourself, or don't know where to look for it?

Do you want an article or other document written about a particular topic, perhaps for distribution on paper, or publication on your website or elsewhere on the internet?

If your answer is yes to one or even both of these questions, then you have come to the right place. Here at Aardstorm we can search the internet or other public sources of information, such as libraries and museums, for the information you require. We can then either simply tell you where to find that information, so that you can read it yourself, or we can write up what we have found into a report for your own use, or as some other form of document for publication on paper or on the internet. We can also produce documents to your requirements from information that you supply to us.

The remainder of this section describes the research and document authoring services provided by Aardstorm in more detail. To aid this description, our services are described separately below and on subsequent pages. You can use them as separate stand-alone services, or together. You can also use them in conjunction with our website design service, to commission us to produce the text for one or more of the pages of your website. If you want your document illustrated with pictures or graphics, then we can find or create them for you too, through our picture services.

Research Service

Here at Aardstorm we can use our expertise in searching the internet and other public information sources to locate the information that you require about virtually any topic. Please note that this is a literature search service; we do not conduct our own original research. Once we have located the information your require, we can then either simply tell you where to find it, we can summarise the information for you as a set of notes, or, through our authoring service, we can produce a proper report, article or other form of document to your requirements based on the information we have found. We can locate information about as broad or narrow a subject as you desire, and to whatever depth you require. We can simply answer a specific question, or we can provide extensive information about broad topic. If the information is publicly available, we can find it for you. This can be a very time consuming process; while we locate your information you can be devoting your time to more important or productive work, such as running your business.

Authoring Service

Here at Aardstorm we can write documents for you in a wide variety of formats, both electronic and on paper. These can be based on information that either you supply to us, or that we have found for you through our research service. We can also simply convert a document that you supply to us to a different format. The sort of documents we can produce include:

If you require a paper document with more than a few copies, or with high printing quality requirements, then we can liase with commercial printing services to produce your documents.

We can also illustrate your document with pictures and graphics that either your supply, or that have been located or produced using our picture service.
